You should find the series of articles that describes drum synthesis of each standard drum sound. 808, 909, 606, most analog drum synth snares are made with a synthetic noise generator into a filter and in some cases layered with an oscillator and in other cases using the resonance of the filter to add the “tonal” bit of the snare.
