Analog rytm mk2 how to change mapping zone c-2? – #2 by Octagonist – Analog Rytm
I see.
You can’t change the note mappings in the Rytm. You will need to do the mapping before the MIDI reaches your Rytm. You could use a MIDI processor utility, or a Max4Live plugin, in your DAW, or a hardware MIDI processor like a MIDIHub.
The Rytm has two mappings:
- the bottom 12 notes map to the root note for each track (so long as the tracks are on channels 1-12 like the defaults)
- the middle two octaves (I forget which ones… c1-c3, maybe c2-c4…?) map to the range of notes for the track linked to the channel the message is sent on
The MIDI specification does not indicate which octave has the label “c0”, “c-1” etc. So it might be true that c0 in your DAW/VST is already c-2 in the Rytm. Try it and see.
