Hive2 is an option. It’s still a wavetable synth but mainly just a simple subtractive synth that sounds awesome with 3 different synth engines available, plenty of modulation options, very nice FX, arp/sequencer, so on. I mainly use Serum and Phase Plant, but if I just want to throw a basic 1 shot shot or atmosphere, Hive is my go to. Very very light on CPU resources. Love the shape sequencer, can get crazy stuff with this.
