An EWI with Linnstrument Tech pretty please. – Roger Linn Design Forum

This is a request to Mr. Roger.

The glissando/slide/portamento problem:
The issue with the EWIs is that the speed of slide is set. It seems, that the MPE implementation could solve that.

I’ve been a long user of an Akai EWI 4000s and also I’ve been using the Linnstrument 128 for a while now.
I’d love to see an EWI with a fingerboard similar to the Linnstrument, or somewhat similar – modifier buttons or keys might need a different approach – Not sure… BUT:
It would solve the fixed timed slides!

A fully featured dream EWI would be:
Real slides between notes.
Bite and breath sensor that can properly sense the “frullato” and “humming” and translate it to midi.
Motion sensors.
And of course the “4D” MPE fingerboard.
All shorter then 50cm. And maybe BLE midi? – for easiest portability? – no internal sounds necessary.
