Indeed, but: zero-latency FIR is CPU-hungry compared to equivalent IIR, no?
(Ok: no FB means no cumulative error.)

Linear-phase might have negligible ringing if cutoff high enough, but then latency’s back.

By the way: IIR have post-ringing.
(Re-reading my previous post, I realise it could appear to suggest otherwise.)

About the antiderivative anti-aliasing method: if this is what I think it is:
(x[n-1] + x[n])/2 is an incomplete trapezoidal integrator, and the half-sample delay can be fixed …
