One question still – is he picking up his Tom Anderson when he plays normally?
– or any of these partscasters

So you can build anything and put strings, but a good pickup in the same spot – and get a strumming open chord sound similar.

My later discoveries as a 70’s style Tele from Squier made in Indonesia, which is not the cheapest, but rather decent.
– and my American Pro Deluxe Tele, also with humbucker?
– never ever would I go back to the Squier, even having Fender …
