A-Magnetar Pro is a multiband saturator with up to six bands, each with its own saturation. The crossovers are built so that splitting the signal does not change it: with the bands unsaturated, the sum stays within 0.01 dB from 40 Hz to 16 kHz:

  • Ten saturation types per band, with drive, mix, level, pan, dynamics and feedback.
  • Oversampling from 1x to 16x, in L/R or M/S.
  • Modulation: two LFOs, two envelope followers and an eight-slot matrix for drive, mix, level, pan and crossovers.
  • Harmonic anchor: a crossover can follow the note of the source.

A-Magnetar Pro is part of the Astra Pro Pack (€150, taxes included), with A-Quasar Pro, A-Gravity Pro and A-Radar Pro. One licence key activates the four plug-ins on two computers.
