Completely understood. Whichever is the easiest way from inspiration to creation is typically the route I take, hence being ITB mostly for the last decade or so. I’m still a fan of hardware, but don’t reach for it as much as I used to with software/digital audio getting to be the way it is now. I never would’ve believed this when I was back in college and saving every dime I made for a K2000VP. It’s an amazing time to be alive. 🙂
