Midi Clock Reception? (in: Roger Linn Design)

I keep encountering difficulties when receiving Midi Clock Sync. I use the DIN midi input on the Linnstrument and send the midi clock from an Eventide H90. The midi out goes to a Digitakt.
However, I cannot detect any acceptance on the Linnstrument. Neither with activated sequencer split (play or stop) nor with low-row arpeggios on the other split.
