[CLOSED] Generic TWRP Thread or Forum

Yes, I know you’re going to move this thread, moderator. That’s okay. As usual, I can’t find exactly the right place to post.

I have a generic non/multi branded Chinese manufactured tablet using a Korean Rockchip Chipset & ARM processor that I need to change the ROM on. Ironically, there’s about ten different threads across this site with people asking the same questions, but no one realizes we’re all talking about the same device with minor differences (RAM size, exact processor type, current version of android, etc.)

The initial question is. . . . is there a GENERIC version of TWRP to install on a device you don’t have or can’t find original firmware images for? And given this phone has treble support, is there a TWRP dev that takes advantage of that?

I’m doing all of this so. . . .

I can install a custom ROM with root so. . .

I can format my microsd card as internal so. . . .

I have more than the bare 20GB of storage space this device has on it.

I’m just frustrated because I’m drowning in threads here, and can’t seem to find the right one (or so everyone tells me). Or maybe because RockChip has a TON of flashing devices, including a brand new one for Android, but no instructions that makes sense and no images to flash to the device WITH.

I respectfully ask for someone to help me figure this out. Somewhere on here, I’ve already got a thread for the device issue.
