Oh, I didn’t know about that PU configuration, thanks Mike. Since I’ve already mentioned my dislike for the fret end nibs, might as well explain that part. I do have one G product with those nibs.

We have big seasonal changes in here. And especially during cold winters, central heating dries everything up and it’s not that easy to keep proper humidity all the time. So after years, seasonal shrinking and swelling of neck has made fret ends to push those nibs out little by little. And now high e slips easily into those gaps and gets even stuck in there. Those nibs were robbing otherwise playable surface from the fretboard even when they were still ok, now bottom part of the fretboard feels a bit like skating on thin ice, you might fall any second so extra careful down there. That of course takes some fun out of playing. So for me they are a useless and limiting feature in guitars, thus frets over the binding or no binding at all.
