The Roland SH-4d and linnstrument make an excellent duo. – Roger Linn Design Forum

I got one of these yesterday. I figured people might have skipped this one because it doesn’t have MPE capabilities. But, it is multi timbral, giving you 4 parts that that each have their own midi channel and a 5th part for drums. So using the split on the linnstrument, it really gives you a lot of ways to play this thing. You can set the pitch bend range differently on each part, too. I’d been looking for something where I could do everything in one box, other than a laptop, and this does it well. Also runs on 4AA batteries.

Anyways, I don’t want this to sound like an ad or something. I just am excited and wanted to share.
