A single chip for current and next generation automotive audio needs

By combining TI’s C7x vector DSP with Cortex Arm cores, system designers can replace 4+ chips with a single SoC while still delivering automotive audio features such as noise cancelation, Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS), spatial audio technology such as Dolby, AutoSAR, and ethernet audio video bridging (eAVB). TI audio SoCs utilize multiple instances of the Multi-channel Audio Serial Port (McASP) for I2S, TDM, and other standard audio protocols in addition to 2 ports of gigabit ethernet. Additionally, TI’s software ecosystem minimizes design time through a pre-enabled ecosystem software.
