fingernails on my right hand (in: Guitars)

Ooh, Alaska picks. I’ve never seen those type before. It has crossed my mind to try finger picks but I’ve always found the sensitivity between the picks and strings much too difficult to control. Maybe the necessity nowadays would help overcome this.

I’m in my mid-sixties and age too makes the nails thinner. I’ve tried protein supplements but they’re expensive. I’ve thought about eating jelly blocks to strengthen the nails though I think that may be a myth.
