AudioFinder returns, new code 2026? – Page 3 – Samplers, Sampling & Sample Libraries Forum

I think I’m just going to wait it out and see what happens and stop using it. All its doing at this point is frustrating me more and more every time I open it and try to “use it”. Up to beta 12 now (or whatever it updated to yesterday) and still no way to edit any data, or tell the so called “AI agent” hey this loop is 4 beats not 2 can you stop detecting the wrong tempo?

Even the Metadata editor is detecting things incorrectly and the only way to fix it there is to manually type everything in. At least in AudioFinder, I could go change the number of beats in a sample easily and it would fix itself. All AudioFinder needed to be perfect was to actually embed that data into the sample instead of keeping it all in its own internal database (Steinberg MediaBay does the same thing and it really irks me why it cant just add it to a header in the file itself). This app is so far away from AudioFinder and what it did that its essentially useless to me. For an AI based app, the AI is not very bright at all and there is no way around it.
