Caesura Effects Corso

Corso is a chorus built on arrival time. Six voices leave with your note and land up to forty milliseconds apart. Under about ten milliseconds the ear hears one thickened note, which is chorus; past ten the copies come apart into an ensemble; past thirty-five they are their own events. Put ENTRY on SWELL and nothing has an attack, so the field simply appears around you. The scatter pattern is fixed, so a preset plays the same way every night.

Features:

  • SCATTER from about 1 ms to 42 ms, shown on the face voice by voice.
  • DETUNE, ORBIT (a three-phase motion) and TIMBRE (tone spread between the voices).
  • WIDTH built to survive a mono sum.
  • ENTRY: PLUCK, SOFT or SWELL; TIME: FREE, SYNC or TRIP.
  • BLEND: DRY, WET or WIDE; TEMPO footswitch taps the tempo.

A 14-day trial is available from the product page.
