Rockedge Audio RA-CS1
RA-CS1 is a channel strip for the first insert on every track — cleanup, dynamics, tone and a touch of colour in one plugin.
Chain: Input Gain (polarity invert) -> Expander -> 8-band EQ -> VCA Compressor -> Saturation -> Output gain:
- Feed-forward VCA compressor: ratio, attack and release do what the panel says.
- Auto Gain: measures the signal for 3 seconds and sets the output level — Apply or Cancel.
- 8-band EQ: HP / Low Shelf / Bell / High Shelf / LP per band, 12–48 dB/oct, mute and solo per band.
- Expander with range and detector controls.
- Drive stage: TUBE / TAPE / JFET / BJT characters with mix control.
- 2× oversampled, 2 samples of latency.
