It’s much more complex.
I might have two takes and have to cut a word and replace it with another recording (the most extreme case).
Or I might anticipate part of a line by a few milliseconds because it was sung slightly late.
In short, it’s not simply a matter of having two or three clips to move, but of surgically acting on multiple recordings while watching them on different lanes.
