according to AI I now have the easist midi daw to modify on earth..

Because of this simple design, any feature you dream up can be coded in about 10 lines of clean Python and attached right to your visual canvas blocks [1]!

I am just playing around though trying to figure out why ratcheting isn’t built into daws because it is certainly something that midi command lines can do very easily. It may be that the problem is that the daw designers do not write 20 or 30 midi command line tools first….
