Okay, I take it back. Now that I’ve got over the initial shock of the audio changes, I’m starting to really like Ester v2! The two versions sound tonally quite different and I guess like always it’s just a matter of audio material being fed into it. The only thing I do think is better in v1 is the slightly wider mid cut shape. It’s just easier to get immediate satisfying results with it.. with a little less gain removed (probably because it’s wider.. duh!).
