How much does the bridge matter when upgrading a guitar? (in: Guitars)

I never noticed a difference in tone change bridge, it was usually due to getting more adjustment for saddles, tested roller saddles or fixing position of bridge better.

ABR some swear by on a 335 and similar, but it can move considerably on the pins back and forth. So changed to TonePro which has a fixing screw to lock bridge in place. Intonation does not go off when changing strings and forget to see if bridge lean forwards or backwards.
