Plugin Idea: Parametric EQ with FL Studio-style Heatmap Analyzer
I would love to see a modern VST3/AAX/AU equalizer that uses a spectrum analyzer similar to the Heatmap display found in FL Studio’s Fruity Parametric EQ 2.
Most modern EQs use a traditional FFT line display (FabFilter Pro-Q 3, Kirchhoff EQ, etc.), but FL Studio’s Heatmap visualization presents frequency energy as color intensity over time, making it very easy to identify resonances, dominant frequencies, low-end buildup, and…
