How often do you record your guitar playing? (in: Guitars)

Rarely. I’ve been thinking about doing it more often, especially acoustic. The thing is with that, I have an AKG 414 in an elastic cradle. It was sitting there for a few years, out and ready to use. Except when I started recording again last August, after pulling out the mic stand with the AKG on it (for years) the elastic had rotted and the cradle was useless. Bought a new one…
