Yes you are correct
As you said the core is right but it sounds like some guitar crunch is added to the sound.

But you can do that in post
It 90 percent there now.

I’m not great with guitar processing but the effect isn’t that strong so mixing in some typical guitar rig or amplitude will get you very close

If you want to make a full remake or a few of the sounds, let me know.
Especially if you would create the midi for a lead or chords so I know exactly what you’re after.
