Certainly Oscillation is more important than Modulation?

I’ve said it many times before that we’re living in the time of “Modulation Madness”. Where what goes into a patch is more important than what comes out of the speakers.

I saw one guy brag about using over 30 modulation source/destinations in a patch that ended up sounding as simple as a Minimoog. Complexity for its own sake.

Of course some modulation is necessary but I don’t judge a patch by how many Mods it uses but how few it need…
