SM7B requires at least a 60 dB gain preamp, and most Focusrite are 55 dB.
– I had a Twintrak Pro that had 60 dB for this reason
– I think ISA one is 60 dB

When expanding with ADAT preamps all I found Focusrite were 55 dB, so went Audient which has 60 or more.

Try this maybe to boost a little without adding too much noise

If that is not better than CL-1 better preamp into line input of your interface is probably way to go.
