Legato slide in AGTC not triggering! (in: Ample Sound)

Currently using AGTC 4.0, the legato slide is very inconsistent. It only triggers the first time I entered/alter the velocity of the E0 note. Then it’s not sliding again in future playback until I alter the velocity of E0 again (to any value). I can see it actually triggers the UI to the legato slide circle icon and also the arrow on the guitar string thing, but the playback just does not register it (no slide). What is wrong?
