Tempo Automation Has a Mind of Its Own (in: Bitwig)

These are mostly brand-new electronic tracks that do not demonstrate tempo instability when set to “raw” sampling mode. The one track that changed tempo (103BPM intro and 127BPM main) Bitwig did not try to compensate for, so as far as I’m aware, Bitwig sets a single BPM for an entire clip/sample. And that one track was removed while issues persisted.

The artifacts are per sampling mode. So you hear the granular effects vs pitch changing effects. This is not the track changing tempo on its own. …
