SSL 360 with non-SSL MIDI controller – possible? (in: Effects)

Hi, I can’t seem to find it, but I’m pretty sure I saw a video on YouTube showing a guy controlling the SSL 360 faders with the faders of a Novation keyboard controller. Maybe it can be done through the DAW, because SSL 360 and the DAW can communicate through MCU protocol (faders, knobs and transport buttons of the 360 and of the DAW can interact through MCU protocol). I guess you can just try by yourself since the SSL 360 software and link plugins are free.
