We really don’t encrypt anything. The license in the metadata is plain json so anyone can parse it and see what’s in there. I like the transparency of it.
If you need pseudonyms or anonymous emails, those are not difficult to set up.
However, if your concern is that a License Card that is stored on your computer was somehow a danger to your privacy… I don’t know… when I search for my name or emails address on my computer I get loads of hits, but none of those is the License Card. It would …
