The original had one of the fiddliest guis I’ve ever come across. Tiny dials that revealed more tiny controls, tiny text and a kind of “my first plugin” aesthetic to it. I literally stopped using it because the GUI was maddening in pretty much every way.
There is nothing inherently wrong with multi tabbed plugins.
