Softube Echoes vs. Tape Echoes (in: Effects)

Anybody here using Softube Echoes? I’m familiar with Tape Echoes, but I don’t think I’d ever heard of Echoes before and I’m sorta intrigued with it since it’s on sale this week for $49 (reg. $149). The interface looks good to me and I see that it has six delay modes: Filter, Reverb, BBD, Tape, Pan, and Lo-fi. I’m curious to know if the Tape mode in Echoes is the same algorithm as in Tape Echoes?, but a quick search came up empty. Anybody here know?
