Just because something is in standard notation and in a book doesn’t mean it’s right either.
Anyone of a certain age had a copy of “Led Zeppelin Complete” (which was published before Physical Graffiti) knows exactly what I mean. They couldn’t even get the name of Zeppelin’s fifth album correct (it was listed as Led Zeppelin V).
I also had a few Beatles songbooks which weren’t even in the correct key.
