How do I do this kind of slide with Ample Eclipse (in: Production Technique…)

I only hear a portamento/glide down in pitch like you mentioned.
– speed and how far is essential so curve of automation important
– this sound like a D to an A

Just practice manually with pitch wheel and even write automation and repeat until it sounds right.
– just might have to set pitch to 5 half notes(a 4th) range or something so it covers the “slide”
– or experiment setting until PW max range covers the full pitch range you want perfectly
– then only speed left to practice
