macOS 26 Tahoe is there – Can I upgrade? (in: Instruments)

Cheers! I’m on an M1 iMac but for the rest a very similar config as yourself software wise. I am a bit fearful of macOS26 actually making my system feel heavier and slower to use. Going by how each newer OS is larger and requires better hardware to run smoothly.

I mostly wait out the first 6 months to sometimes a full year after a new OS release. So all the kinks have been ironed out but mostly so that software devs have caught up.
