I learned to mix with Reaper, so I honestly don’t find it that unwieldy. I honestly don’t get the usefulness of the new Lanes system vs the old Takes system; yes, it is a bit more… “rational” when it comes to punch-ins (since with takes, that would cause all the items on the same track to add an empty take if the new take does not cover such items), but on the other hand I’ve watched a few videos and it is far too mouse-driven and I can imagine it giving me RSI in no time.
