Hmm, let’s see…
Cable is rated for the amperage.
Say such cable is good for up to 250 Watts. With 240 Volts that means 1 Ampere.
One ampere it is then. With a speaker cabinet of 8 Ohm that means you get 8 Volts and 8 Watts as well. Easy on the neighbours.
To get say 120 Watts out of this 8 Ohm cabinet, you need 31 Volts & 3.8 Ampere. This 4 Ampere on 240 Volts would be roughly 1000 Watts. That is a different category of cable.
