MuseScore 4.5.2 error on chromebook

I’m a student arranger and recently I’ve been using musescore. it’s been great and all but when I installed the new update I saw black boxes that were supposed to be things that helped you navigate it as a newcomer at first I’ve brushed it off thinking it was just my computer so I reset it. After my computer powered back on and I open musescore I thought the problem was fixed but it wasn’t. is there a solution to this?

P.S. and when I try to change things like the theme the preference tab appear.
