PTE Exam August 2025 Changes

Before you circle a test date on your calendar, here’s what else you need to know about the August 2025 PTE changes, especially if you’re prepping in Dubai or anywhere across the UAE.

These changes apply to,

  • PTE Academic
  • PTE Academic UKVI

No changes are being made to,

So if you’re registered for the PTE Academic test after August 7, 2025, you’ll experience the new format in full swing. But if your test date is before August 7, breathe easy, the changes don’t apply to you.

  • No increase in test duration, Still approx. 2 hours
  • No changes to pte exam fees
  • Fast results, Delivered within 2 days (no more than 5)
  • No changes to, Repeat Sentence, Write from Dictation, Read Aloud
