Which equalizers shoud I get? (in: Guitars)

I’m looking at 2-3 different equalizers, two pedals, a parametric and a graphic, which can also be used in front of the amp/preamp, and a two channel rack mounted graphic, which is for use after preamps

I don’t want something which colours the sound. I’ve used cheap EQ pedals in front of my amps, and it both improves the sound and makes it worse at the same time, as I don’t like the character the sound gets. I’ve heard good things about the Ibanez PTEQ Pentatone for parametric, and MXR M108S an…
