Bless Audio Phantom
Phantom is a compressor that combines multiband compression and dynamic stereo redistribution.
General Operation:
- Automatic threshold: Defined by the input volume.
- “Compression” knob: The higher it is, the stronger the compression, with additional effects on the signal processing.
Key Features:
- Multiband compression:
- The signal is split into multiple frequency bands for precise control.
- “Exp” knob: Adjusts the intensity of this compression.
- Stereo Redistribution:
- A part of the signal is reintroduced into the stereo image depending on the frequencies.
- “Stereo Morph” knob: The higher it is, the more the signal is redistributed between the mid and side.
- Soft Saturation (“Gas”):
- Applies light exponential saturation.
- At low levels, it’s subtle; at full, it colors the sound.
- Final Compression (“Glue”):
- Final compression to smooth the signal.
- Slow Attack | Fast Release for optimal cohesion.
- Optimized processing with no drastic phase movement for maximum transparency.
