Slave Waveform To External Midi Device Clock? (in: Tracktion)

Is there a way to slave Waveform so it’s running off an external device clock? This way I can set a midi track up in Waveform to record, hit the record button, but nothing should happen until I start my external device. This way if I have a synth with a recorded sequence or running an arpeggio, I can feed the data in sync into Waveform.

I see the MTC button, as well as the “Respond to midi machine control from device” under the SYNC button, but activating one or both of these does not put Wavef…
