crystal for visual studio x64 not installing – says must already have VS2022

Moving to a new development laptop and decided to bring one of my earlier apps forward to VS2022, 64 bit, etc.

Getting this error:
Warning: you must already have Visual Studio 2022 installed

But I do have Visual Studio 2022 Enterprise installed.

Then it fails with this message:

Very frustrating because if I try on my old laptop it installs fine.

I’ve tried SP32, 35, 37. I’m about to just give up and re-write my reports using XtraReports, but thought I’d see if anyone has any suggestions. My new laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad P16s running Windows 11. Not having any other problems other than this.
