Latency is critical when using any type of processing in real-time.

Real life testing shows that you can ‘get away with’ up to seven milliseconds of latency for some instruments and vocal types. But at CEDAR, we believe that anything over one millisecond can result in some latency artifacts and if a process claims to be ‘near-zero’ latency, it should mean just that!

So this is why CEDAR use the Quantum™ Technology mark, guaranteeing a maximum of one millisecond latency.
