We decided to avoid active elements on our website, such as any server-side scripts that access a database to display any form of dynamic content, as e.g. WordPress, Typo3 or other platforms do. Instead, our website is almost completely plain HTML (aka “static”). This dramatically reduces the risk of being hacked, and we never need to update any platform due to any new found vulnerabilities.
