Multiple takes (in: Tracktion)

New here with Tracktion Waveform Pro. I just want to record more than one take for a track. Looking through tutorials and the manual, I’m not finding it. I am finding loop recording, but when I’m done doing that I don’t see the little plus symbol on the bottom right of the clip to expand the takes, and I’m hearing previous takes as I loop through the new recording.
Also, is there no way to just create a new blank take without looping, and then record, and then select from the takes and/or co…
