I went through this kind of search a few months ago and met with frustration. Most standalone sequencers/arpeggiators don’t allow you to set up, say, an eighth note followed by a quarter note followed by another eighth note, etc., such as you can do in a DAW’s piano roll sequencer. Especially if you want to change the pitch of notes from note to note, I could find nothing. I settled for a flexible arpeggiator (without pitch control) in Tantra 2.
