“Container not found” Error when Using RFI Container ID in Autodesk Construction Cloud API

Subject: “Container not found” Error when Using RFI Container ID in Autodesk Construction Cloud API

Hi all,

I’m encountering a “Container not found” error when trying to retrieve RFI data using the RFI container ID in the Autodesk Construction Cloud API.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Created a project in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Created RFIs within the project.
Fetched project data via the API, which includes an rficontainerId.

The issues I’m facing:
1.When I use the v2 API version (developer.api.autodesk.com/bim360/rfis/v2/containers/{container_id}/rfis), I get the “Container not found” error.
2.When I use the v1 API version (from the href link in the response), I get the error “The requested resource does not exist.”

Questions:
1.Why does the container ID return different results with v1 and v2?
2.How should I correctly fetch RFIs using the container ID?
