Dead condenser mic? (in: Hardware (Instrument…)

Basic question but never come across this before so…

Just fired up an old MXL condenser I can’t have used in a decade and can’t get anything really out of it. I double checked the cable with a dynamic mic (fine) and measured the voltage with phantom power engaged (~45v). If I tap the casing (hard) I can get some spikes though very low (-30db), vocals aren’t picked up at all. Flipped the pad and filter switches in case to blame but nope.

Dead? Anything else I can check? It’s been kept in it’…
