QGIS and Python – Geographic Information Systems Stack Exchange

I am using QGIS 3.34 LTR. Python or his part is somehow used within instalation of QGIS.
I would like to start learning Python.

C:\Users\vlade> python –version
C:\Users\vlade> python3 –version
Python was not found; run without arguments to install from the Microsoft Store, or disable this shortcut from Settings > Manage App Execution Aliases.

C:\Users\vlade>where Python
C:\Users\vlade\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\python.exe

Now I installed VS code. It wants me to install Python extension for Visual Studio Code.

  1. Shall I install it?
  2. I would be happy to learn Python and I would not like to damage my QGIS installatin.

I do not clearly understand relation between QGIS and Python.

Can you advice me further practical steps?
